Got it? Second twenties.
I made a right mess of my first twenties.
They were a learning experience. *shrugs*
I learned a lot.
Having given the matter some considerable thought, I've decided to take them again.
(NB Do not argue.)

Does this mean I get a redo of ages 14-24 next birthday? Methinks I could really use one right about now...

and happy twentieth!
(I thought it was the 14th but judging by the happy birthday in the comment over by that other thread, apparently not... : ( )
(I'm not good at dates)
(I think I should start giving people deliberately belated birthday well wishes if they don't blog about them or give me a reminder like the day before)

It is the 14th; CNWB was just so keen to wish me well he apparently couldn't wait for the inevitable birthday post which he must surely have known was coming.

Fuck the twenties!
Thirty is the new twenty-one.
Self-assurance from having lived some is sexy.
Happy birthday.

I made a right mess of my first twenties.
Heh -- me too.
Having given the matter some considerable thought, I've decided to take them again.
Just wait til you go back to uni in Feb and are surrounded by people in their first twenties.
It's awesome, in so many ways. In a month's time I may well have legitimately forgotten my "real" age (but hopefully not the hard-earned life skillz that come with). Bet you will too.
Thirty is the new twenty-one.
this meme keeps popping up. i likes it (because it's true).
Self-assurance from having lived some is sexy.
Damn straight.
The big 3-0 is dead, long live the big 3-0.

yes I'm late to the game (the hotel i was staying at in Perth advertised they had internet access - turns out it was dial up on a little machine in the lobby - very cute) - but happy new decade in any case.
